Himeno stared down at Chrys critically, pretty sure he had had three packets of smarties when he had left Tesco on the way over. One had disappeared and he doubted Archie had anything to do with it (unless he was an invisible ninja or something). The five-year old smiled up at him sweetly as he drew the car up outside of Lake's home and hopped out, dashing to the door and ringing the bell before he had even properly locked the people carrier up.

"Chrys." He called, pocketing his keys and walking down the drive, making sure Miren was close by him as he did so. Dammit, why couldn't Lake have Chrys? He was used to hyper wasn't he? He'd pay the bills and everything! Now to see if he could get in the house easily, or if it was going to be a battle to get past Archie. Chrys was peeking eagerly in the letterbox, keeping an eye out for anyone coming to the door. She so wanted it to be Archie who answered, he was amusing.

Bailey was bored, he laughed as he heard Ipsie's gentle voice in his head from the other day." It's only boring people that get bored" she trilled...
He bent down to peer into the oven to see if his chocolate cake was at last ready, and heard the 'ping' of the timer go off.....
As he opened the oven door the warm smell of baked chocolate cake wafted through the room, and he took a deep heavy breath as it filled his nostrils with the promise of comfort.
" Mine, mine, squeeled Fin." Oh, no short stuff, go away" replied Bailey as he held the plate aloft, above the little lad's head and deftly moved to the other side of the kitchen with it.
" Awww spoilsport" Fin whined as he flounced out of the kitchen, fully intending to return in a while hoping to catch his cousin off guard and steal some cake. He couldn't resist cake let alone anything chocolate! " Chocolate, cake, chocolate, cake, MINE" He whispered to himself.
Bailey saw the young boy retreat from the kitchen, and knew only too well his plan to return later, so he hid the cake on the highest shelf he could find before grabbing a 'Post it' note and sticking it on the kitchen door as he closed it with the word ' SUCKER' written on it in large red letters.
